French bulldogs dressed in pink to raise money for breast cancer

NEW YORK

A French bulldog and his owner are doing their part to spread love throughout New York City.

Polo and around 30 other dogs dressed in pink to raise money for breast cancer awareness at Washington Square Park on Sunday.

The event was sponsored by local businesses including Williamsburg Bulldogs andBenebone.

Attendees were given free bones and t-shirts with the pink breast cancer ribbon on the back.


The phrase “fight like a Frenchie” was printed above the ribbon, a popular Instagram hashtag used for a sick animal needing motivation.

All proceeds from Sunday’s event will go towards team Polo Spreads Love at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Central Park on October 19th.

The walk is hosted by the American Cancer Society.
